Great! Inspiration is a crucial part of any creative work. Feel free to use my work as a starting point or a reference. Key word is 'starting point' and 'reference' and no that doesn't mean I'm ok with you just copy my entire work and claim it as your own. That's plagiarize, not reference.

For example if you inspired by my character design, Feel free to reference it to make it your own with your spin and input in it. Give them love, new design , new story! (Don't just taking my entire design and just change color and name. That's just lazy tho.)

I draw the line between reference/inspiration vs just plain stealing, plagiarize by the amount of your 'input' and new thing in that certain stuff that you're using as inspiration/reference. No I don't own a certain color palette nor do I own a simple concept like star hydra, living latex armor or anything like that. It's simple, just put your own work on them too.
